AQT launches PINE ION TRAP family of products
March 2021: Decades of development by some of the finest minds in Innsbruck coupled with exemplary modern engineering and production techniques have enabled AQT to launch the PINE ION TRAP family of products.
Available as a stand-alone trap module or as a research accelerating experimental assembly, the PINE TRAP features low micromotion and low heating rates at room temperature. Supported by world leading engineers and scientists, the Pine is now commercially available to academic groups and research institutions.

AQT’s ion-trap quantum computer, procured by the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre and Munich Quantum Valley, is now operational at LRZ's Quantum Integration Centre, making it the first of its kind in a computing center.

The total value of the delivery, including services, amounts to 12.28 million euros. AQT is delivering a quantum computer to the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC) in Poland.
